If you are a Muslim and you Celebrate Christmas you are an Idol worshipper.
If you are a Muslim and you celebrate Christmas you are an Idol worshipper.
Salam Alahekum Waramotulahi Wabarakatuhu.
Praise be to almighty Allah the most beneficent the most merciful. Anyone you guide no one can misguid him and to whom you misguided no one can guide him.
I bear witness that there is no other gods worthy of worship except Allah and prophet Muhammad (PBHM) is your servant and messanger.
our topic for today is a very sensitive one and we need to sensitize our Muslim brothers and sisters about the forbidden immitatiom of other religions.
Prophet Muhammad (PBHM) said Muslim only has two festivals which is Eid Adha and Eid-Kabir. And also the lesser festival which is Friday Yaumul- al- Jum'at. Any other celebration differ to this, is innovation in Islam like celebrating birthday of prophet Muhammad(PBHM) and Christmas as well as new year.
Joining other religions to celebrate their festivals is forbidden in Islam because Allah (S.W.) said in the holy Quran that :
(This day, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.) meaning, accept Islam for yourselves, for it is the religion that Allah likes and which He chose for you, and it is that with which He sent the best of the honorable Messengers and the most glorious of His Books.
Imam Ahmad recorded that Tariq bin Shihab said, "A Jewish man said to `Umar bin Al-Khattab, `O Leader of the Believers! There is a verse in your Book, which is read by all of you (Muslims), and had it been revealed to us, we would have taken that day (on which it was revealed) as a day of celebration.' `Umar bin Al-Khattab asked, `Which is that verse' The Jew replied,.
With this concrete evident in the Qur'an, (no other religious have this evident and their gods did not tell them it's the accepted religion) do we still suppose to worship other religion. or celebrating any other things except what Allah has ordained us ?. It's a big sin to worship or imitating other religion and Allah can forgive all sins but He won't forgive people who have partner with Him.
Allah stated in the holy Qur'an telling prophet Muhammad(S.A.W) that tell the disbelievers that" For you is your religion, and for me is my religion.""Lakum deenukum waliya deen", this verse has proved it that reconciliation and imitation of other religions is forbidden in Islam. May Allah not count us among the people who have ears but can not hear and who have eyes to see His signs but they see not.
EATING CHRISMAS FOOD IS FORBIDDEN.
Sharing of gift, decorating house, shop, changing of utensils or walldrobe, eating their festival food are forbidden in Islam. Eating christain food is allowed in Islam but eating their festival food is forbidden because they have attached the food to the celebration of Jew, and eating meat that is not killed by saying Bismilahi Allahu Akbar is considered as haram in Islam except the animals in the sea and wide Animal as prescribed in the holy Qur'an.
So the question is: what is Christmas all about? If we go back, we discover that in ancient times the feast of the pagan sun god took place on December 25. It was celebrated in Europe to give people hope that the difficult days of cold weather would soon be over. The churches took over this date, although there is not one document that proves exactly when Jesus (peace be upon him) was born. It’s believed by our Christian friends that God sent his son into this world to redeem it from the original sin of Adam and Eve and hence Christmas is the time when Jesus was born. I wanted to share this because I’m wondering if my Christian friends know these facts about this festival
GREETING HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR IS ALSO FORBIDDEN.
Greeting them happy chrismas is the same as showing please and joy of celebrating the people of the book who believed the son of Maryam was born on the 25th of December and believed that Jesus died while Allah (S.W) told us in the Qur'an
“And because of their saying (in boast), ‘We killed the Messiah ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), the Messenger of Allaah,’ — but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but it appeared so to them the resemblance of ‘Eesa (Jesus) was put over another man (and they killed that man)], and those who differ therein are full of doubts. They have no (certain) knowledge, they follow nothing but conjecture. For surely; they killed him not [i.e. ‘Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary)]:
But Allaah raised him [‘Eesa (Jesus)] up (with his body and soul) unto Himself (and he is in the heavens). And Allaah is Ever All Powerful, All Wise”[al-Nisaa’ 4:157-158].
May Allah forgive me and you and guide us to the part of the people before us. Asalam Alahekum.
